A  Healthy lifestyle

INTRODUCTION

Since our son has been doing Sport and Exercise at school, I have been aware of the phenomenon MSANR.

I had never heard of it before, but in the fitness and sports world it was a very common term.

MSANR stands for.

-Move

-Smoke

-Alcohol

-Nutrition

-Relaxed

It seems to be part of a healthy lifestyle that these 5 themes are in balance. And I thought, maybe it’s good to use this term to hang the theme: healthy lifestyle.

If you are on the verge of a burnout, or if you want to prevent it, it may be useful to pursue a healthy lifestyle and think about these 5 themes.

I will discuss them briefly below, although I think they speak for themselves.

TOGETHER

Striving for a healthy lifestyle can be part of preventing burnout. Maybe it’s a good idea to work on this together, with your environment.

What is worth thinking about is the question of how much pressure there should be on this. Are you going to go straight to the gym, stop eating meat and just start drinking water? Or do you take it a little easier and try to take small steps.

With most changes, they can only be sustained if they become more or less part of your current pattern.

How many diets have we not started, how many times have we started exercising, how often would we eat less fries…? These were often too big changes, which we have not been able to sustain.

Only with small steps can changes be sustained. And you prefer to do it together.

CHANGE

People are creatures of habit and don’t like too big changes. The smallest changes are best maintained if they fit into the current rhythm.

So, try to make small changes, but in such a way that not too many changes.

GROW

Keeping up these tiny steps is actually all growing. Very slowly you will notice that this does have an effect.

So, try it, even if it doesn’t seem like much… Many drops make a bucket (or something)

TRUST

If you can keep this up and you feel that it works, you will notice that confidence in your own abilities arises.

You feel that this is better and that makes you trust that you are on the right track.

SUMMARY

I will write a separate piece for each MSANR after this. Even though the steps seem very small, they are already a change and easy to maintain.

Hopefully it will be of some use to you.

Good luck!!
